Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) denotes a corporation’s commitment to evaluate and take accountability for its effects on both environmental and social welfare. CSR encompasses initiatives aimed at enhancing societal conditions and reducing any adverse consequences stemming from the corporation’s operations. As part of its corporate philosophy, MAHALAXMI has actively addressed the diverse societal requirements of remote rural regions from where mineral resources are extracted and has been consistently offering support. Whether it pertains to environmental concerns, developmental aspects such as employment creation, education, healthcare, water supply, sanitation, women’s empowerment, or urgent assistance at time of natural calamities, MAHALAXMI has opted to act with responsibility and has consistently upheld its social responsibilities towards the community of which it is undeniably an integral part.

Key CSR Focus Areas

  • Education & Livelihood: Supporting infrastructure for schools, promoting digital education and training programs for rural students and women to promote financial independence. Providing financial help to SARDARDHAM to promote building project for bright but economic poor student’s Hostel and Education Centres. Helping the Institution carrying Vacation Training for students to establish their own business.

  • Health & Sanitation: Provision of clean drinking water, organizing health camps, and providing financial assistant to poor rural people coming for treatment in urban cities for critical illness. Established a Medical Centre – Karamshibhai Lakhubhai Dholu Parivar – Medical Centre, near Vaishnodevi Circle, Ahmedabad. Providing financial assistance to Hospitals in remote area of Kutch District helping poor people to get good treatment at negligible cost.

  • Animal Welfare: Providing financial assistance to various Gaushala and Pinjrapole in Gujarat. In rain affected area or drought situation, establishing temporary cattle centres in various rural area of Kutch District.

  • Environmental Sustainability: Rehabilitation of mined-out land and planting trees to make eco-system restoration. Also assisting agencies who are carrying out activities of tree plantation and maintains the same until three four years to reduce emissions and also preserving rain water creating small Check-Dams and percolating wells.
